What is Gabapentin?

Gabapentin or Neurotonin, is a medicine designed to treat seizures and different types of neurological pain.

What conditions does Gabapentin treat?

It was originally formulated for people with epilepsy and neuralgia, a type of nerve pain. Post Therepetic Neuralgia is the most common type of nerve pain it is used to treat. It has also been prescribed for other pain disorders such as fibromyalgia, migraines, post operative pain disorder, multiple sclerosis, diabetic neuropathy, as well as benzodiazepine withdrawal.

In the case of treatment resistant depression, Neurotinin may be helpful. The treatment of other psychological disorders is also sometimes indicated. Other uses include the relief of menopausal hot flashes, and sleep disorders.

How does Gabapentin work?

As it’s name implies, this medication mimics GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) a neurotransmitter in the brain. GABA is involved in nerve cell communication and is widely known as a brain calming chemical. This is because GABA inhibits the excitability of the nervous system, including the brain’s pain receptors.

GABA also plays a direct part in the regulation of muscle tone.

How does GABA relate to HGH?

GABA is thought to increase the levels of Human Growth Hormone (Somatropin or HGH). HGH is produced in the pituitary gland of the brain and is sometimes referred to as the “fountain of youth” hormone.

This is because somatropin regulates the regeneration of cells and promotes overall growth. People who are deficient in HGH have been shown to respond positively to hormone replacement. Improved muscle tone, skin elasticity, libido, immune function, and an increase in height have been observed.

HGH deficiency is traditionally treated by administering injections of the synthetic hormone. Although necessary in severe clinical cases, injections can cause some troublesome side effects, such as acrogemaly, edema, carpal tunnel, insulin resistance, stiff muscles, numbness, high blood pressure, and pituitary complacence.

Natural HGH Supplements:

For people with moderate to low depletion there are other options for increasing HGH, these include using natural supplements. The benefit to natural supplementation is that you can avoid many side effects and increase your somatropin levels gradually.

Two examples of HGH supplements are Syntropin and Genf20.
Sytropin is a supplement designed to increase the serum HGH levels in the blood. With this convenient spray you can administer HGH safely without the risk of harsh HGH injections. Sytropin ingredients include a broad range of natural extracts and amino acids, including GABA.

Genf20 is a dietary supplement that is also used to increase Human Growth Hormone. Like Syntropin, it does not require painful injections, and comes in an easy to swallow capsule. The ingredients also include a proprietary blend of amino acids and health promoting nutrients.
