Hangars and Stands: Do They Separate Tacky From Classy?

Many people may have multiple weapons replicas and historical weapons displayed in their own personal collection, however it is very key to display their collection properly. Picture going to you're friends house walking in and seeing a Samurai sword resting against the wall in the living room. No, that does not look right, you never see someone placing their collection leaning up. It just makes items that should be classy look tacky and is akin to going in to a museum without display cases. What is the point in having weapons replicas and fantasy weapons if you aren't displaying them properly. Get excited about your collection, and go pick up a stand or hangar to give your collection the display that will impress your friends, and make you feel proud about owning a piece of history.

Their are many types of stands and hangars so be sure to pick the right type for the atmosphere of your house or apartment and type of item you are displaying. It should also reflect a little about you and what kind of look you are trying to get from the display, for example if you are displaying 6 samurai swords you want a classy sword hanger with a stand for each one. If they have different lengths you might want to consider increasing or decreasing the length in an order when you display them. there is also the question are you going to display the swords sheathed or unsheathed. For samurai swords it is pretty standard for them to stay sheathed, however if you are displaying a sword from the middle ages you might want to consider putting it up on the wall with a mount of some sort but unsheathed. Make sure to cover it with glass though for safety's sake.
