There are tons of different kinds of Medieval Helmets to choose from. They are not all the typical "knight in shining armor" helmets but they come from many other parts of the medieval times as well. These different helmets can be purchased online along with other accessories. The various medieval helmets include Crusader helmets, Black Spangenhlem helmets, European Close Helmet (which looks like the classic "knight" helmet that most people would see in movies), the Crusader Great Helm, the Medieval Pigface, the Norman Helmet and many more.

With all of these different types of collectors helmets, there is also a helmet stand on which a person can place the helmet they purchase. Stands are usually sold separately and it is one helmet per stand. So if someone purchases a lot of helmets and helmet stands, it can get pretty expensive depending on how many they decide to buy and display in their homes, workplace etc.

Caring for the Medieval helmets is pretty simple. They are usually shipped with oil coated over them with plastic wrapped over (this is to keep the helmet from rusting). Once the helmet is received, a fresh coat of oil should be put on (after removing the original coat with mineral spirits and cloth of course). To keep the helmet from getting dusty, a fresh coat should be applied once a month. The helmet should be cleaned and re-oiled after handling as well to keep them looking nice. If the helmet is strictly for display only, then once a month oiling should be fine as long as the owner keeps up with it.
