History Of Underwater Kinetics

Underwater Kinetics (known as UK) is a world-renowned brand manufacturing different types of equipment used under extreme conditions. The California-based enterprise started out in 1971, in a dorm room at the University of California in San Diego. The founder, Alan Uke, developed a plastic boot that protected scuba tanks from rust. The University dive team then asked Alan to also suggest a diving light that would work under high pressure, deep into the ocean. Soon after, Uke produced the first underwater flash light, which marked the beginning of the company's success in the area of flashlights.
