History Of Tru Hone

Tru Hone was founded in the early 1970s by a former Chicago Cutlery salesman by the name of Fred Gangelhoff who was less than enthused by the products he was attempting to sell. With an engineering degree in hand, he applied a vast sales knowledge of cutlery and teamwork with machine workers to develop the world-renowed Tru Hone Knife Sharpener and the rest, as they say, is history.
