History Of Hibben Knives

Hibben Knives, also known as Gill Hibben Knives has been in business for over 45 years, it was founded by Gill Hibbens himself, and his expertise and recognition within the knife industry makes the company one of the top custom knife makers in the industry. Gill Hibbens claims he is the first knife maker to use 440C steel to create his knives, a metal that today is the norm for knife making. In 1968, Hibben designed all of Browning's orginal knife designs, and over the years Hibbens designed a number of custom knives for private collections across the globe. Today, Hibbens is still one of the top knife designers in the industry, and continues to make custom one of kind knives from his home in Kentucky.
