Tokyo Marui’s Thompson M1A1 airsoft rifle comes with a full metal barrel and upper receiver. The lower receiver is made of durable plastic. This AEG comes with a Version-6 gearbox that is metal with plastic bushings, and a high quality electric motor. This new Thompson has an adjustable HOP UP located on the outside of the rifle so adjusting doesn’t require pulling back the cocking lever. The Thompson comes with a metal mid-cap magazine, and takes a large battery that goes in the stock. Plastic parts include the foregrip, the pistol grip, the full stock, and the lower receiver. The rear sight is adjustable side to side and up and down. It has a metal sling mount on the front as well as a metal sling mount on the stock of the gun. The Thompson has a track rail for the magazine so that it has to be lined up correctly. We tested the Thompson firing .20g BBs and it produced a muzzle velocity of about 300 FPS.
