The RPK (Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova) is the light machine gun that replaced the RPD in the role as the support weapon for Soviet infantry. It was adopted by the Red Army in 1974 and is still used. TSD, working with trusted manufacturer SRC, has missed nothing in replicating such a historical and fascinating weapon. The RPK comes with more metal parts and upgrades than the price gives it credit for. The receiver and barrel assembly are constructed completely of metal and it doesn't stop there. The gun also includes a metal outer barrel, metal bi-pod, and metal HOP UP unit. The RPK sits hefty in hand with the smooth real wood stock, pistol grip, and hand guard. It feels almost too real to be true. This high end AEG at a mid range price is perfect for anyone looking for that "intimidation factor".
If the externals weren't enough to make your mouth water wait until you see what is on the inside! The TSD RPK has been completely decked out internally. The common Version 3 gearbox has been equipped with solid steel gears and bushings giving it the strength to handle any size battery or spring. Speaking of springs, the RPK comes stock with an M110 spring and a ported piston head to put all that 360 FPS muzzle velocity where it needs to go If they hadn't done enough already, TSD had SRC install an SRC Ultra-High Torque Motor and a 3000 round electric drum magazine to keep the BBs firing all day long. With upgrades like that and a price like this, it is hard to beat the TSD Tactical Gen II RPK.
