CAS Iberia is a prominent wholesale distributor of weapons, both historical and functional in nature and with an emphasis on swords and blades. They specialize in collector's items such as swords as art and replica production for historical weapons from various cultures and events throughout history, with samurai swords standing as their cornerstone. Swords, knives, and even some forms of jewelry such as pendants are attached to the CAS Iberia brand. Their items cannot be purchased by just anybody, as the company is a distributor and prospective customers must be dealers and must submit an application to sell.
CAS Iberia, also known as CAS Hanwei, was created and founded by Paul Chen in the early 1990's operating of Dalian, China. From humble beginnings Mr. Chen was not a man of wealth and began his foray into the knife arena by creating custom blades at his home in Taiwan. He took his passion for and burgeoning business of knives with him to Dalian, China to pursue greater heights by selling his own works and those of local artisans. Starting first with samurai swords and then expanding their line to European products, CAS Hanwei now resides in a specially built building that was created in 2002. With a strong family dynamic and over three hundred loyal employees, the company continues to serve its customers well.
