The Avtomat Kalashnikova is the most commonly known assault rifle in the World. The superior design of the AK-47 was designed by Russian Mikhail Kalashikov in 1947. The dependability of the AK-47 was proven when it was dragged through mud, and sand while still firing flawlessly. Tokyo Marui has a couple of excellent models of this ubiquitous Russian weapon that seems to have replaced the spear as the means to settle tribal disputes in various Third World countries.
