Blowback
Blowback is a term used to describe certain airsoft guns with the added feature of a simulated working gun action. For example, blowback gas airsoft pistols channel some of the pressurized gas while firing to push back the pistol’s slide. This motion mimics the action of a real semiautomatic pistol giving the user the most realistic experience available. This action has also been reproduced in some electric guns which use an electric motor to reciprocate the gun action. Blowback is normally only available with airsoft pistols and smaller submachine guns such as an airsoft UZI or MAC-11.
