Japanese airsoft manufacturer Tokyo Marui is perhaps the most widely recognized brand in the airsoft world. Tokyo Marui is known for their line of high quality AEG's (Automatic Electric Guns), and gas and electric airsoft pistols. As one of the first airsoft manufacturers Marui pioneered some of the first airsoft gun designs, most notably AEG's. Marui airsoft guns are popular among airsoft enthusiasts for several reasons. Perhaps two of the biggest reasons include their amazingly detailed look and highly accurate fire. Although Japanese laws have prohibited Tokyo Marui from producing all metal body AEG's their guns are still very durable thanks to the use of tough ABS plastic and metal reinforcing parts where needed.
